Seated Acupressure Chair Massage (on site massage) .

This is a hybrid of the ancient oriental massage techniques of Anma and Shiatu and based on the body's meridian lines. The practitioner uses her thumb, finger,elbow and knuckle to stimulate the acupressure points found along the meridians of the head, neck, back, arm, hands and legs to help stimulate and balance the flow of energy through the body.

This stimulates the lymphatic, immune, nervous, muscular and circulatory systems releasing endorphins and other important mood-regulating neurotransmitters which gives the body its sense of well being. The end result is a feeling of relaxation and clarity which you carry with you though the day.

The benefits of Seated Acupressure Massage include a improvement in conditions such as anxiety, asthma, backache, digestive problems, eyestrain, fatigue and headaches. It is also known to improves flexibility eases insomnia and irritability, and to help boost the immune system. As we work in close proximity to the spine we stimulate all of the nerve endings which in turn clears congested areas along the nerves pathways improving the function of the bodies messaging system.

You remain fully dressed for the duration of the massage but a well fitted t-shirt can make it easiest for the therapist to work on the spinal region and make you more comfortable.

Seated Acupressure Massage is non-invasive and very gentle so it is suitable for most people. However, if you are pregnant have a skin infections a contagious skin disorders, recent concussion, whiplash or diabetes the treatment can be unsuitable and a doctors consent many be required before treatment can begin. Natural face lift massage

As well as Seated Acupressure Chair Massage, we also practice Natural Face Lift Massage. This incorporates a unique blend of highly effective techniques drawn from both Japanese face massage and Indian massage also known as Facial Rejuvenation or Natural Face Lift. it also incorporates techniques from Acupressure and Facial Reflexology, new therapies that are becoming increasingly popular with clients.

Treatment cost £45.00 for 1 hour.

Indian head massage

We also practice Indian head massage. This is an extremely effective therapy that has evolved from traditional techniques practised in India as part of family rituals for over 1000 years. The treatment involves massage to the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, face and scalp, with the client remaining seated in an upright position.

Although Indian Head Massage has been in existence in India for many years it has only recently gained popularity in the west. This message works on significant areas of the body, especially the neck and the shoulders where stress effects major muscle groups. and it often brings immediate relief. Tensions are eased and fibrous knots and nodules melt away.

Treatment cost £35.00 for 30 minutes.
